Abstract

This publication presents the development of a multi-functional colorimetric chemosensor based on a new hybrid azo-pyrazole/pyrrolinone ester hydrazone dye. The sensor demonstrates excellent selectivity and sensitivity for the naked eye recognition of copper(II), zinc(II), and cobalt(II) ions. The research contributes to the field of analytical chemistry by providing a simple, cost-effective method for metal ion detection.

Key Features

  • Multi-functional chemosensor design
  • Naked eye detection capability
  • Selective recognition of Cu²⁺, Zn²⁺, and Co²⁺
  • Hybrid azo-pyrazole/pyrrolinone structure
  • Colorimetric response analysis
